Education: I obtained my PsyD, which is a clinical doctorate of psychology, at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. Following the completion of my academics, I completed a clinical internship at Mountain Regional Services in Evanston, Wyoming. In this setting I obtained a specialty in understanding individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I also expanded my knowledge of psychodynamically oriented, or depth oriented therapy. I completed my post-doctorate residency at Hazelden Springbrook in Newberg, Oregon, where I studied addiction-related disorders included causal factors and treatment.
Specialties: I specialize in providing psychotherapy and counseling services to adults and adolescents. Particular conditions that I treat include anxiety, depression, addictive behaviors, and posttraumatic stress disorder. Additionally, I have expertise in providing counseling and psychotherapy services to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities including the autism spectrum. Due to my extensive experience working in the filed of addiction science, I also have expertise in working with individuals suffering from addiction, or family members/friends that are attempting to support someone with an addictive disorder.
